What a month it has been. As we close out 2025, we do so with extraordinary momentum, deep gratitude, and a renewed commitment to the communities we serve. This December, we had the privilege of collaborating with Family Scholar House and Governor Andy Beshear to advance critical housing solutions for families across the Commonwealth. Together, we achieved meaningful milestones that demonstrate what is possible when purpose, innovation, and partnership align.

Business Impact Awards: Celebrating Local Recognition

Last week, MMY US had the honor of receiving a Business Impact Award—one of only three companies recognized this year. This award celebrates organizations that uplift their communities, invest in their people, and create innovative pathways for workforce development. Being selected among such distinguished peers makes this moment incredibly special.

We extend our sincere thanks to Louisville Business First for recognizing the dedication and hard work of our team. This recognition underscores the impact we are making as we build stronger, safer, and more resilient communities throughout Kentucky.

Project Milestones: Homes in Motion

Eight homes, sixteen modules, and eight roof loads - for a week, six trucks rolled on into the region every day this past month. One veteran driver, who transports modules daily for manufacturing plants, shared that these are the highest-quality modules he has ever delivered. We also conducted a test shipment earlier this week, and not a single crack occurred during transit. This level of precision and care reflects the craftsmanship of our team and the strength of our product.

Just last week, we rolled from Louisville to Hazard with an exceptional Kentucky State Police escort, supported by the Louisville Metro Police Department up to the city limits. This level of coordination and professionalism ensured a safe, seamless, and highly efficient transport of the homes across the Commonwealth.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Kentucky State Police, whose officers led the full-distance escort with precision, vigilance, and unwavering commitment to public safety. Their planning, communication, and on-the-ground leadership made this complex transport possible.

We also want to recognize the Louisville Metro Police Department for their role in guiding the convoy safely out of the city on the I64. Their cooperation and support at the early stages of the route set the foundation for a smooth and well-orchestrated journey.

In addition, we thank the transportation officials, local authorities across every county we passed through, and the many state partners who assisted with route coordination, traffic control, and safety protocols. Moving a multi-home modular convoy of this scale requires the collaboration of numerous agencies, and we are deeply appreciative of the professionalism shown at every level.

Finally, our thanks extend to the communities along the route—residents, local leaders, and future homeowners—who came out to wave, cheer, and welcome the Caravan of Hope. Your encouragement reinforces why this work matters and strengthens our commitment to delivering resilient, high-quality homes across Eastern Kentucky.

Skyview Installation Milestones: Speed, Quality, and Resilience in Action

Earlier this year, our team attended the Housing Development Alliance’s Skyview Wall Raising and Award Announcements at Skyview Estates in Hazard, Perry County. Witnessing this initiative progress from early fundraising to active construction has been deeply rewarding.

The high-ground development—funded through disaster relief resources (CDBGDR) and the Department of Local Government (DLG)—continues to advance rapidly. Skyview Estates represents far more than new housing; it embodies safety, stability, and a fresh start for families whose lives were uprooted by catastrophic flooding - the convoy represented HOPE

In just four days, MMYUS installed eight sets of precast crawl foundations, and by the second day of modular installation, three homes were already set with five more underway. Despite freezing temperatures, snow, and harsh site conditions, our crews moved forward without delay. Weather is not a limiting factor when modular construction is executed properly. This new subdivision will ultimately provide resilient, non-combustible, energy-efficient steel modular homes built to withstand future environmental challenges.

Governor Andy Beshear noted the importance of this work, emphasizing that the Skyview neighborhood will eventually include around 100 homes on donated land, helping families transition out of the floodplain. These eight new homes bring the total completed in the community to 20—a meaningful step forward in delivering durable, high-quality housing.

It felt like a boyhood dream brought to life: the Peterbilt trucks, my own CB handle #creamtea , coordination with state police, massive cranes, and an entire highway closed to transport urgently needed homes. Seeing flags flying and people cheering as we moved through was extraordinary.It was, without question, one of the most memorable days of my 35 years in construction.

Proud Partners in Innovation and Impact

MMYUS is honoured to support Family Scholar House with the design, manufacturing, and construction of these climate-resilient single-family homes. This project demonstrates our capacity to deliver reliable, efficient, and durable modular housing—even five hours away in the Appalachian Mountains—while ensuring long-term community value.

We are also grateful for the leadership of Governor Andy Beshear, whose commitment to safe, equitable housing across the Commonwealth continues to drive meaningful outcomes for families in Eastern Kentucky.

MMYUS Recognized in Governor Beshear’s Update

In a recent televised update, Governor Andy Beshear highlighted MMYUS’s role in delivering eight homes from West Louisville to the Skyview High Ground community—an important milestone in Kentucky’s long-term flood recovery strategy. The “Caravan of Hope,” escorted by Kentucky State Police, was welcomed by future homeowners, local officials, and Team Kentucky partners upon arrival.

Skyview continues to progress rapidly with additional homes nearing completion. Across all High Ground Communities, more than 500 homes are planned, making this one of the nation’s most ambitious rebuild efforts. MMYUS is proud to contribute to this work and to the partnerships that make it possible.

This first disaster-relief project is now significantly closer to completion for Governor Beshear, DLG, and the families who will soon call Skyview home, with a further 38 homes coming to the second disaster relief project, Chestnut Ridge.

Howard, Procurement Manager at MMYUS

As part of our ongoing effort to highlight the people behind MMYUS, we sat down with Howard, our Procurement Manager and an essential contributor to our operations.

In his role, Howard is responsible for sourcing and securing the materials that keep production running smoothly. Before he stepped into the position, MMYUS operated without a dedicated procurement lead, and he has since helped relieve pressure on production teams, enabling them to work more efficiently and maintain their focus on quality.

Howard brings several years of procurement experience from the manufactured housing industry in Louisiana. His reputation in the sector, built through consistent performance and strong relationships, helped pave the way to his role with MMYUS. Although the environment here presents new processes and systems to learn, he welcomes the challenge and appreciates the fast pace and purpose-driven nature of the work.

His previous responsibilities—cycle counts, material take-offs, quality surveying, addressing production issues, and improving material flow—closely parallel what he does at MMYUS. Throughout his career, he has focused on optimizing manufacturing environments to support teams in working effectively and efficiently.

What drew Howard to MMYUS was both the quality of the product and the mission behind it. He describes the difference clearly: in other manufactured housing settings, the emphasis is often on volume; at MMYUS, the priority is craftsmanship. As he puts it, “We’re building homes.” That distinction gives him pride and motivates his commitment to helping deliver safe, durable, affordable housing to families who need it.

We are proud to have Howard as part of the MMYUS team and look forward to the continued value he brings to our mission.

Assistant Employee of the Month: Hal…

Hal the garden gnome has been part of the modular construction world for many moons. Originally discovered by Chad’s father, Hal was later passed down to Chad, our transport subcontractor and CEO at Halo Halo LLC. This is where Hal the gnome’s career truly took off.

Now a quiet celebrity in the modular and construction worlds, Hal is known for traveling from site to site, lending a hand wherever needed. After a few uncomfortable encounters with the TSA, Hal now prefers to travel undercover by car.

With our plant located in Louisville, Kentucky, MMY US is actively manufacturing and delivering high-quality, climate-resistant, steel LEED Platinum single-family and multifamily modular housing and commercial buildings as both a mission-driven general contractor and a manufacturer.

We are not raising capital to get started.
We are not planning a factory.
We are not theorizing solutions.

We are in production today.

We have manufactured over 150 modules and delivered completed homes you can walk through—not concepts, not renderings—actual finished product across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and beyond. Our modular homes are pre-permitted, replicable, and ready to deploy at scale.

This is what it looks like to build the future, not talk about it.
