Two months into 2026, and the momentum at MMY US continues to build. With 2/12 of the year complete and 10 strong months ahead, we are focused on new achievements, meaningful partnerships, and projects that create measurable impact.

This month, we pause to recognize the people who make our work possible, our dedicated team, trusted suppliers, and valued partners. In particular, we extend our gratitude to our friends at Family Scholar House for the transformational work they do in our community.

We are proud to support Wine, Women & Shoes, the signature fundraising event benefiting Family Scholar House — a vital organization serving the USA.

This engaging and high-energy event brings together philanthropic women — and a few exceptional men — to sip, shop, savor, and support a worthy cause in a chic and dynamic setting.

The Mission Behind the Celebration:

Led by the inspiring Cathe Dykstra, Family Scholar House is committed to ending the cycle of poverty by empowering families and youth through education and comprehensive support services.

A cornerstone of their work focuses on helping homeless and at-risk women gain the skills, education, and resources necessary to rent, purchase, and maintain stable housing , building a foundation for long-term independence and generational change.

Their mission is clear:

To end the cycle of poverty and transform the community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve lifelong self-sufficiency.

At MMY US, we believe strong partnerships drive sustainable impact. Our ongoing collaboration with Family Scholar House continues to create meaningful ripple effects across Kentucky and beyond.

The Honorary Committee Reception, hosted by Co-Chair

Affectionately known as our CEO’s CEO (Robins' wife) — on Wednesday, February 18th at Waterfront Park Place, was a wonderful evening of connection and conversation.

Co-hosted with Monica Wolf, about 40 ladies enjoyed light bites, cocktails, and great company as we came together to celebrate all that FSH does for Louisville and across the United States. All those who gathered are leaders in the community who passionately support FSH.

One of the most anticipated features of the evening is the Shoe Guy competition.

Louisville’s most civic-minded and charismatic men have volunteered to serve as hosts for the event—welcoming guests, elevating the experience, and raising critical funds in advance. These Shoe Guys compete to see who can raise the most support, with the top fundraiser crowned “King of Sole” on event night.

We are proud to share that Robin Bartram Brown, CEO of MMY US, is serving as one of this year’s Shoe Guys. Robin is actively raising funds to support the student parents participating in the Family Scholar House program.

All funds raised directly benefit these families as they pursue higher education and work toward lasting economic independence.
